MODERATE TO LOW SPATTER: The E71T-GS produces a smooth arc action and low spatter, though the bead appearance may not be equal to a gas-shielded product.
WIDE APPLICATIONS: Typical applications include butt, lap, and fillet welds, and it works well on rusty, dirty, and painted materials. It is excellent for outdoor and windy conditions, where wires requiring gas run the risk of the gas being blown away, resulting in porosity.
SELF-SHIELDED: The E71T-GS is an all-position, single-pass, flux-cored welding wire designed to weld carbon steel. The unique quality of this product is that you do not have to use a shielding gas.
RUNS HOTTER: TRQWH's E71T wire runs hotter than solid wires, making it best suited for single-pass applications with high travel speed.
